Made in SA is a collection of new piano pieces written for beginning-to-intermediate students by member of the Composers Alliance of San Antonio (CASA). There are five graded volumes, each compiled and edited by Dr. Carolyn True and Dr. Brian Bondari, professors of Music at Trinity University. All the works are presented in a logical and progressive order from the most straightforward to the most musically advanced.

As you peruse the five volumes of Made in SA, note that the compositions contain challenging elements requiring skills appropriate to the level (growing rhythmic and metric complexity, growing musical sophistication, etc.). Every selection has a descriptive title – inspiring students to be imaginative and communicative. The CASA composers have written comments for each of the pieces – some are practice suggestions, some are ideas for character, some are reflections on how the composer arrived at the piece. Enjoy these exceptional works, made deep in the heart of Texas!
